Do you know how to cook meatballs? No, write down the recipe - take 1 kg of dumplings and clean them. Of course, this is a joke, but that is exactly what the children told me when I served meatballs for lunch - these are dumplings without dough!

Meatballs meat balls with spices and spices. You can add other ingredients to them - onion, pumpkin, zucchini, nuts, greens, in general, everything your heart desires. There are so many types of meatballs and in each country they are prepared in a special way. Therefore, I will not pretend that this recipe applies to a particular cuisine. What for? The main thing is tasty.

Such meat balls can be served without sauce and gravy, but you can also with the latter. Cranberry sauce is good for meatballs. But the gravy is best tomato. But sour cream gravy has a place to be. I served them without sauce, so to speak in pure form. Everyone really enjoyed it.

Ingredients:

Stuffing - 300 g;

Semka - 50 g;

Egg - 1 pc.;

Onion - 1 pc.;

Salt and black pepper;

Vegetable oil for frying.

Recipe:

Finely chop the onion for meatballs. You can skip it through a meat grinder, but then the effect will be completely different. Therefore, we are not lazy and cut onions in as small cubes as possible.

Talk about minced meat. The best stuffing is homemade. You know exactly what kind of meat you made it from and you can guarantee the quality. But the minced meat can also be used for meatballs. When choosing stuffing in the store, pay attention to color and smell. Fresh minced meat of bright color with a pleasant meat smell.

Add semolina and egg to the minced meat.

Also add onion to the minced meat. It can be pre-passivated if it is too "bitter". You can add a little chopped greens. Do not forget to salt and pepper the minced meat.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and leave for 20-30 minutes to swell semolina.

After half an hour, you can roll meatballs. Place a bowl of water next to you. With wet hands, pinching and rolling the balls is easier. We roll out balls of the size of a walnut or a little more from the whole stuffing. We spread them in a pan with preheated vegetable oil and fry. During cooking, they flatten a little. To prevent this, deep-frying is necessary. But it is not very economical and useful.

Serve the prepared meatballs to a side dish of vegetables, pasta or potatoes. Enjoy your meal.
