International Nuclear Test Protest Day

The UN General Assembly approved this day in 2009. The goal is to draw public attention to protests against nuclear tests and the further buildup of nuclear weapons on the planet. A safe world can only be created if this necessary condition is met, so the UN emphasizes the need to completely end the trials. The existing treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons between the nuclear powers was signed in 1996, since then the parties have been cooperating in this direction around the world. Most of the Earth has already become a nuclear-weapon-free zone. Russia and America, the two largest nuclear powers, constantly emphasize fulfillment of their obligations and intentions to further reduce arms.

Walnut Spas and the transfer of the miraculous icon of Jesus Christ

According to legend, the ruler Avgar, stricken with leprosy, wrote a letter to Jesus asking for healing. He sent the artist to transfer a letter to Palestine and write images of Christ. The painter Ananias saw Christ surrounded by the people, but could not approach him in the crowd, then the Savior hailed him himself and handed the letter to the ruler, promising to send his disciple to him. Then Jesus washed his face and stamped on his face (towel) his face. The image was transferred to Edessa. Avgar steadily walked towards the amendment, and by the time the disciple of Jesus appeared near him, he was already practically healthy. On the same day, Walnut Spas is celebrated.

Third Savior (Miraculous)

The story of the appearance of the miraculous image is not all that he is famous for. In 944 AD, the icon was transferred to Constantinople. The Orthodox Church considers this day a holiday - but the relic itself, unfortunately, was lost during one of the Crusades. The city was plundered, traces of the image were lost. However, the miraculous image is still considered evidence of the truth of reincarnation, and is also an argument for the veneration of icons. On this day, Russian peasants prayed to God in the morning, then went to the field with bread and salt. Three sheaves on a cart at the bottom, bags of grains on top, children with pies and buckwheat porridge on the field - this is a tradition.
