International Nuclear Test Protest Day
The UN General Assembly approved this day in 2009. The goal is to draw public attention to protests against nuclear tests and the further buildup of nuclear weapons on the planet. A safe world can only be created if this necessary condition is met, so the UN emphasizes the need to completely end the trials. The existing treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons between the nuclear powers was signed in 1996, since then the parties have been cooperating in this direction around the world. Most of the Earth has already become a nuclear-weapon-free zone. Russia and America, the two largest nuclear powers, constantly emphasize fulfillment of their obligations and intentions to further reduce arms.

August 28, 1885 - a patent is issued for the first motorcycle
Engineer Gottlieb Daimler documented his invention. His companion was William Maybach. 12 years have passed since his first experiments, an internal combustion engine was created and passed research. The new device was installed on an ordinary bicycle. In the patent it was written - "A horse-drawn carriage with a kerosene engine." The bike itself is made of wooden parts, instead of wheels there were rims with wooden knitting needles. The speed of the wooden great-grandfather of the motorcycle was only 12 km per hour. Subsequently, Maybach and Daimler founded a motorcycle company.

August 29, 1949 - the first tests of atomic weapons in the USSR
The operation of the first nuclear reactor required 45 tons of uranium. It was necessary another 150 tons, which saved up more than a year. Tests of the reactor began in the Chelyabinsk region in 1948. Due to a serious accident, work was stopped for almost a year. The reactor was subjected to manual assembly and disassembly, while thousands of people received large doses of radiation. The first atomic bomb was obtained from 10 kilograms of plutonium; it was tested at a training ground near Semipalatinsk. The leaders of the trials were Lavrenty Beria and Igor Kurchatov.

Werner's first achievements - in 1929, experimenting only on himself, he developed a method for cardiac catheterization. The obtained method of measuring pressure and blood composition inside the heart has become a revolution in cardiology. For discoveries in the field of surgery, WernerForsman received the Nobel Prize in medicine.
Ingrid Bergman (1915 - 1982) - Swedish actress
Starting at age 17, Ingrid Bergman worked at the Royal Swedish Theater, and in 1935 she played her first film role. The real father of modern jazz, Charlie Parker had a huge impact on subsequent generations of jazz saxophonists. It can only be compared with Louis Armstrong. Charlie was self-taught, his mother gave him the saxophone as a teenager. He tried to give his music individuality and style. Parker's first recordings were with the orchestra and pianist Jay McShann. Memories of Charlie as a capricious, spoiled man who at heart was very lonely, trying to reduce his isolation by alcohol and drugs, have survived.
