Recipe 1: Turkey Meatballs with Rice for Soup

Replacing meat with turkey meatballs reduces the time it takes to prepare first courses without sacrificing taste. Such soups are prepared quickly, the broth turns out to be rich and satisfying. And if you pre-fry the balls, then it’s also very fragrant.

Ingredients

• 0.4 kg of turkey;

• 1 egg;

• a little dry dill;

• spices;

• 70 grams of rice;

• clove of garlic.

Cooking

1. Pour rice into a pot of boiling water, boil for seven minutes. We express. Before cooking, rinses must be washed.

2. While the rice is being cooked, we twist the turkey in a meat grinder. You can chop in the combine or use ready-made minced meat.

3. Combine with rice, add the egg.

Ingredients

• 600 grams of turkey fillet;

• 1 egg;

• spices;

• 1 onion;

• 1 small carrot.

Cooking

1. Twist the fillet into minced meat along with the onion.

2. Add carrots grated with small chips or just chop the root crop. But the pieces should turn out small and thin in order to be cooked.

Recipe 3: Turkey Meatballs for Kids

The introduction of meat products in the children's diet is not so simple. A rare mother enjoys daily downtime at the stove to cook a tiny portion. The solution is to make meatballs. You can freeze them and get meat balls at the right time, and cooking does not take so much time.

Ingredients

• 300 grams of turkey;

• 150 grams of cabbage;

• 50 grams of onions;

• 50 grams of carrots;

• salt;

• 1 egg.

Cooking

1. Cabbage is added to the minced meat to smooth out the meat taste. You can use colored, broccoli or white. Shred in small pieces. Do not twist, otherwise the forcemeat will turn out liquid.

Recipe 4: Turkey Meatballs in Creamy Gravy

The recipe for the most tender meatballs in a creamy sauce. They go well with cereals and vegetables, boiled pasta.

Ingredients

• 0.5 kg of turkey;

• 250 ml cream;

• 1 clove of garlic

• 1 onion;

• 60 grams of butter;

• 20 ml of vegetable oil;

• 1 spoon of flour;

• 1 egg;

• 0.5 bunch of parsley (you can use dill).

Of the spices you will need: nutmeg, salt, black pepper, sweet paprika.

Cooking

1. Cut the peeled onion head into cubes, send it to the pan with 10 ml of vegetable oil. Fry until golden brown.

2. Twist the turkey, add the onion, chopped garlic and egg. Then season with nutmeg, paprika, black pepper and salt. Stir and form the meatballs.

3. Fry the meat balls in a pan with the remaining vegetable oil. We clean.

4. Add butter to the pan, heat and fry the flour in it.

5. Pour the cream, stir constantly. Add a glass of boiling water to the sauce and warm. Solim.

6. Now you can add meatballs to the pan or transfer them to the pan, and then pour the sauce.

7. Cover and simmer for ten minutes. Add parsley.

Recipe 5: Turkey Meatballs in Tomato Gravy

Another cooking option for turkey meatballs. In addition to gravy, the recipe is distinguished by the composition of minced meat, which to taste is closer to the cutlet mass.

Ingredients

• 0.5 kg of ground meat from turkey;

• 3 slices of bread;

• 2 onion heads;

• 2 tablespoons of flour;

• 130 ml of milk;

• 25 g of oil;

• 500 ml of water or broth;

• 50 g of pasta;

• seasonings to your taste.

Cooking

1. Pour milk into the bread. It is better to use stale pieces so that the mass does not become slimy. Leave for swelling, then squeeze a little and mix with a twisted turkey.

2. Add the onion. It can just be chopped finely.

3. Put the spices and stir. We form rounded balls. The size is arbitrary. You can mold very small meatballs or closer in size to meatballs.

4. Pour the oil into the pan. Lower the meatballs and lightly fry. Take out in a bowl.

5. We do not remove the frying pan from the heat, but add flour to it. Brown until golden.

6. Add tomato paste, fry until brownish.

7. Pour the broth in small portions, each time the sauce is intensively stirred so that no lumps form. We are warming up.

8. Add salt, pepper.

9. Put the meatballs previously fried in the sauce, cover and simmer until tender. Dressed with chopped herbs. Cooking time depends on the size of the products.

Recipe 6: Oven Turkey Meatballs

And this option for cooking turkey meatballs is good because the dish does not require close attention. We cook minced meat according to any recipe, we make meatballs of any size.

Ingredients

• 700 grams of meatballs;

• 1 onion;

• 2 tablespoons of pasta or tomato ketchup;

• 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or sour cream;

• 3 tablespoons of soy sauce;

• 300 ml of water;

• butter;

• 1 spoonful of flour.

Cooking

1. Cut the peeled onion into small cubes. Transfer to a frying pan and fry with oil.

2. As soon as the pieces begin to brown, add the flour.

3. Combine ketchup with soy sauce and mayonnaise, put in a skillet. We warm, but do not boil.

4. Pour the broth or plain water, boil the sauce until the onions are soft. Then cool a little and wipe through a sieve. Discard the remaining pieces of onion. Season the gravy with spices.

5. Formed meatballs put in a greased form and pour the cooked sauce.

6. Send to the oven and cook for about half an hour.

Recipe 7: Turkey Meatballs with Vegetables

A nutritious but light dish of vegetables and meatballs. At will, the type and amount of additional ingredients can be changed.

Ingredients

• 400 grams of minced turkey;

• 80 grams of sour cream;

• 1 egg;

• 500 grams of cabbage;

• 200 grams of carrots;

• 100 grams of onions;

• 70 grams of oil.

Cooking

1. Combine the minced meat with chopped onion, egg and spices. Stir and form small meatballs.

2. We heat part of the oil and fry on both sides. Spread in a separate bowl.

3. Cut the carrots and cabbage into strips, put in a pan, adding the rest of the oil. Fry until volume is reduced.

4. Then salt, add meatballs.

5. Mix sour cream with 100 ml of water, pour into a dish.

6. Cover, simmer vegetables until soft. Often stir the dish is not worth it, so as not to damage the integrity of meatballs.

Recipe 8: Turkey Meatballs with Cheese

These meat balls are undesirable for soup. But then such turkey meatballs go well with any side dishes and sauces.

Ingredients

• 0.5 kg of turkey;

• 2 onions;

• 0.15 kg of cheese;

• 1 yolk;

• 1 clove of garlic.

Cooking

1. Cut the onions into medium cubes and fry in a skillet until transparent. Add oils a little bit.

2. Twist the turkey and combine with the fried onions, add the yolk, chopped garlic and seasonings.

3. Cheese rubbed with large chips and also shift into minced meat. Stir, form the meatballs.

4. Fry in a pan, and then add tomato or cream sauce, simmer until tender.

Turkey Meatballs - Tips & Tricks

• The skin of a turkey is mainly fat and very high in calories. Therefore, when preparing diet meatballs, it is better to remove it.

• It will be much easier to sculpt meatballs if you wet your hands with cold water. And minced meat is recommended to be beaten off the table well before the procedure.

• Not only rice can be added to meatballs. Buckwheat and oatmeal are perfectly combined with minced turkey. The latter do not need to be boiled beforehand. They are laid in raw meat and leave the mass for half an hour for swelling.

• If the minced meat is liquid and the meatballs cannot be blind, you can add semolina, breadcrumbs, ground oatmeal or bran.

• If the meatballs are served with a side dish, then before frying they can be breaded in flour or breadcrumbs. Appetizing crust will appear on meat balls.

• Adding an egg dilutes the consistency of the minced meat. This should be taken into account when preparing a small number of meatballs. Perhaps it is better to add half the egg or lay only the yolk.

• Meatballs can be frozen not only raw, but also after preliminary frying. The next time you just need to get them out of the freezer, pour the sauce and stew.
